What Funds Support:
St. Mary’s is a leader in health care excellence, with a reputation for providing compassionate, innovative outcome driven care. In 2001, St. Mary’s became home to the Regional Cardiac Care Centre. Today the Cardiac program is a provincial and national leader that provides a full range of cardiac services. Funds raised from this year’s event will be directed to support the Arrhythmia program at St. Mary’s; a program which, in its completion, will be able to diagnose and treat irregular heartbeat conditions. By adding this program to the St. Mary’s Cardiac Care Centre, the hospital will be able to cure many arrhythmias, eliminating the need for long-term drug treatment plans and will prolong life expectancy for patients.
With your support, St. Mary’s can ensure that our friends, neighbours and loved ones have access to a full range of cardiac treatment options, right here in our own backyard.
