Exclusive opportunity to play with an LPGA professional and benefit charity

Waterloo – The inaugural Manulife Financial LPGA Classic will take place from June 18 – 24, 2012, at Grey Silo Golf Course inWaterloo,Ontario. This official full-field LPGA tournament will bring the best female golfers in the world to Waterloo Region.

This is your exclusive opportunity to play a round of golf with one of the world’s best golfers.

The St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation Charity Pro-Am on June 18, 2012, is the kick-off event to the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, providing the opportunity to play a round at Grey Silo under tournament conditions, alongside a LPGA Tour professional. With only 20 foursomes available to purchase, this will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The day will begin with breakfast in the clubhouse and the announcement of team pairings, followed by a quick warm-up session and a shot-gun start at 9.00 am. The day will conclude with an exclusive cocktail reception in the clubhouse.

Proceeds generated from the day will enhance our hospital’s vital volunteer program and support our Regional Cardiac Care Centre while allowing us to raise awareness about the importance of women’s heart health.

“The charity pro-am for the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic is going to be one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities,” said Peter Sweeney.  “It will be an exclusive chance to golf with one of the world’s finest professional athletes and we expect it to be one of the highlights of the tournament.”

The Team Package includes four Charity Pro-Am participant positions, including breakfast, on-course hospitality, cocktail reception, four gift packages, and first right of refusal for 2013 St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation Charity Pro-Am team. Team pricing is $6000.
