“Lip Off KW” Supports Victims of Human Trafficking
November 24th, 2017
On November 7th, community members, workplaces and dignitaries donned the personas of their favourite bands for LipOff KW – a lip sync battle like no other!
Proceeds of the 2017 event were generously directed to support victims of human trafficking in KW, supported through the St. Mary’s operated Waterloo Region Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre.
The volunteer event committee of LipOff KW presented a $2,594 cheque to Director of Community Programs, Julia Manuel.
Thank you to all organizers, participants and attendees; you truly rock!
