At St. Mary’s General Hospital it is our intention to be recognized as leaders in the provision of Cardiac Care for residents of Waterloo Region and beyond. We consider it our responsibility to educate the public on the importance of heart health and living a healthy lifestyle. Part of that responsibility is to provide proactive, preventative education to the community that we serve.

As such, we host a Heart Month Community Engagement Lecture annually.   This free event is open to the public and provides an opportunity for the community to hear directly from St. Mary’s Regional Cardiac Care Centre experts. Our staff share information on how lifestyle affects heart health and offer clinical tips for making better choices.
